American Shorthair

The American shorthaired is a cat that is big bodied and muscular with slightly longer legs and heavier coats than the British Shorthair. They used to be good old moggies but were 'promoted' in the sixties to distinguish them from ordinary household moggies. Just about every colour and shade under the sun.
